Family Race Day Highlights
Off track there are plenty of family activities, including a traditional fairground, talented magician, balloon artist, live music and trips to the start to watch the horses burst out of the starting stalls. What's more - all this is completely free for all racegoers.
When the racing begins, catch our mini-bus for a trip to the race start and watch the runners and riders burst from the stalls in a blur of colour and beating hooves - it's truly an unforgettable sight.
This is a Premier Raceday meaning it offers racegoers the very best racing action alongside an experience to match. Premier Racing is a new horseracing industry initiative designed to celebrate key fixtures in British Racing’s calendar.
Everything about Goodwood is done for love, it’s been crafted lovingly over centuries.

Under 18s race free at all of our fixtures (except Three Friday Nights) and must be pre-booked with both member and non-member admission tickets.
We have U18 discounts available when booking hospitality packages, these are available to members and non-members.
Junior tickets are available for 13-17 year olds (£10 off adult admission tickets).
All those under 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult to gain entry to the venue, limited to four under 18s per adult. Once in the venue, those aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by their responsible adult for the duration of their time at the Racecourse. 16 to 17-year-olds do not need to be accompanied around the venue but must still have their responsible adult on site.

Reduced admission is only available on the day at all meetings except the Qatar Goodwood Festival and the Three Friday nights. 50% discount for Gordon and Lennox enclosures admission only.

Yes, we have a play area that is located at the east end of the Lennox Enclosure. The playground is for 4-12 year-olds and is situated within the Lennox Enclosure, however, ticket holders for all enclosures are able to make use the playground. The playground is only open when the Lennox Enclosure is open. Please be aware that the playground is not supervised so we recommend adult supervision at all times.
