Please note that all children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.

To help us maintain our safeguarding of children on event, children aged 12 and under require an admission ticket and must be accompanied by an adult, on arrival at the event you will be able to collect a wristband for your children where you can add a phone number onto it.

Child admission tickets must be ordered in advance but are subject to availability. If the event has sold out, you may still be able to collect a child wristband at the entry gates.

A reduced 'Young Person' price ticket is available for 13-21 year olds.
Please note, children under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.

Children aged 2 and over will require their own Roving Grandstand Pass. 

Goodwood will move to a fully digital ticketing system for events next year – enhancing convenience, promoting sustainability and streamlining the overall event experience for attendees. As a result, your ticket(s) will be available through the Goodwood Ticket app only. Your digital tickets will be available in the Goodwood Tickets app 14 days before the event, please don’t worry if you don’t see all your tickets there immediately. We’ll make sure all of your tickets arrive well in advance of the event.

EXPLORE DIGITAL TICKETING

Orders for tickets can be cancelled, exchanged or refunded within the first 48 hours after purchase only. Please submit your request to our Ticket Office by by telephone on +44 (0)1243 755055 or email ticket.office@goodwood.com. Goodwood does not issue refunds after this initial 48 hour period.
 
If you are no longer able to attend the event, you may re-sell your ticket at face value through our new official ticket resale partner, Twickets; a fan-to-fan secure trading platform which enables the sale and purchase of tickets at face value. In the event of a ticket resale via an unofficial ticket resale site, we reserve the right to refuse entry to or remove the ticket bearers. Please note that Twickets is only available to those who live in the UK. Tickets included within packages are not able to be re-sold through Twickets.

You can join the Goodwood Road Racing Club community by becoming part of the GRRC Fellowship. Enjoy year-round benefits, including early access to Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival tickets, exclusive live streams and ability to book for the GRRC-only Members' Meeting.

To join the Goodwood Road Racing Club membership, you now have to sign up to the GRRC Fellowship and join the waiting list. We will then be in touch with you once a space in the Club has become available.

Car parks
Parking at the Festival is free and car parks open from 06:30hrs each day. All car parking is on grassland and overnight parking/camping is not permitted in any car park.

When driving to Goodwood, please respect local neighbourhoods and keep to the speed limits.

Performance Car Park
Reserved parking can be booked for the Performance Car Park, which is especially for selected performance cars. Check your car is eligible and reserve a car parking space just above the Formula 1 paddock or by the Startline. 

Motorcycle parking
Motorcycle parking and helmet storage is available inside Car Park A and will be sign posted. Parking on approach roads is not permitted at any time.

Disabled parking
We have disabled parking at the front of all our public car parks, please display your Blue Badge and you'll be directed there. If you are worried about accessibility, you can also pre-book our dedicated disabled parking field (Car Park U near the Goodwood Hotel) by contacting the Ticket Office on 01243 755055 who will issue a car label that you will need to gain access.

There are courtesy shuttles in all car parks to give assistance to those unable to walk to the event entrances; they will drop you at Event Gate 1 or the nearest pedestrian entrance depending on which car park you are in. EV Parking
Due to the location of our event car parks, we’re unable to offer dedicated EV charging facilities.

The AA will be on hand in all of the car parks to assist with any vehicle issues you may have, including flat batteries, flat tyres and locked keys in car. Please speak to a marshall on the day.

We offer convenient camping options which are only a stone's throw away from the Festival of Speed event. Located in the surrounding fields, you can choose a pitch with or without electric hook up and all pitches are 9 x 7 metres. Please note that all camping pitches will sell out in advance of the event, so booking is essential.

Family camping
In 2014 we opened our exclusive family campsite. Up to 60 families can book a 9m x 7m plot, with electric hook-up, family-friendly toilets, baby change, and shower facilities.

The campsite is located in the Lennox enclosure at Goodwood Racecourse, a stones throw from the main event, with beautiful scenic views across the South Downs, a children's play area and onsite catering. The campsite has 24hour security and a dedicated Goodwood host and manager. Families have access to a walk-in fridge to store chilled items free of charge.

Shuttles are available to take you from the family campsite to the festival arena, just a few minutes' drive away. To book camping, use the online ticketing system or call the Ticket Office on +44 (0)1243 755055.

In addition, we offer a travel portal, Goodwood Travel, which gives you direct access to the best hotels and B&Bs, as well as other travel partners and international travel services, in the local area.

STAYING OVER

The Campsite Office, located near the main entrance to your campsite, is open from Wednesday to Monday (24 hours a day on Thursday and Friday). Check-in is between 0700hrs and 2200hrs (1200hrs and 2200hrs on Wednesday), otherwise we will not be able to put you in a pitch until the next day. Should you have any concerns, please see the Campsite Manager. Alternatively, please call the Ticket Office (open during the event between 0700hrs and 1800hrs) on 01243 755055.

Camping guide

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the 24hrs provision of electricity to electric camping plots to supply medical equipment, such as respirators.

As the Festival is an open air event held primarily in parkland, flat comfortable shoes and casual clothing is best. Always bring some light wet weather clothing as, even in summer, the British weather can be unpredictable! If you will be using our corporate hospitality pavilions, then smart casual dress is required.

0630hrs: car parks open (free of charge)
0700hrs: gates open, providing a great opportunity to look around the paddocks before the action begins
0830hrs: the action on the hillclimb commences (each day of the event)
1830hrs: bars close
1900hrs: event ends

The safety and security of everyone at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is of paramount importance to us. We work continually with Sussex Police and other relevant authorities to reduce risk, taking action to put additional measures in place where needed. Although the national threat level has been raised for sometime, there is no known specific threat to our events to cause public concern. Although it's important to be alert and notify staff of anything suspicious, we urge you not to be alarmed.

There will be more extensive dog and bag search procedures for everyone at entrances and you will notice a stronger uniformed police presence throughout the site and the vicinity.

With increased security, access may take longer. Please be prepared for this and allow sufficient time and also bear in mind that if you exit at any stage, you will need to pass through security to re-enter.

You can help the security process by not bringing unnecessary bags, and having your bags ready to be searched as you approach the gates. For any bags you do bring in, please keep them with you at all times, or use our locker facility near Gate 1. We ask for your understanding, patience and cooperation with us and that you also inform your guests and party members of this update.

We also ask for your vigilance on matters of security. If you see or hear anything suspicious, please bring it immediately to the attention of the Police or our Stewards.

Drones
For everyone's safety, members of public are not allowed to fly drones at or over the Festival of Speed. Goodwood occasionally operates drones for official use; these will remain clear of the public at all times. 

Prohibited items
Prohibited items include sharp objects and knives (other than sensible picnic cutlery), excessive alcohol (alcohol for personal consumption with a picnic is acceptable at stewards' discretion), drugs, legal highs, any animals (except guide/assistance dogs) and drones.

You’re very welcome to bring your own picnic to Festival of Speed. A moderate amount of alcohol is also permitted as part of your picnic, with up to one (750ml) bottle of wine or champagne, or up to four beers to share between two guests. Please note that spirits are not permitted as part of your picnic, and the consumption of alcohol is limited to certain areas of the event. We kindly ask that you respect Goodwood staff if you are informed an area does not allow your consumption of alcohol. Alcohol is not allowed in any of the Enclosures or Paddocks.

Goodwood restaurants - the Bar & Grill and Farmer, Butcher, Chef - are both located at the Goodwood Hotel which is just outside the event and easily accessible. Please note that these are pre-bookable only. 

Porsche Café Le Mans will be reserved for Goodwood partners and private guests in 2025, however there are plenty of dining choices at Festival of Speed that are available to pre-book.

Picnics and Hampers - Pre-ordered Best of British picnnics and hampers can be collected on the day from the hamper collection point at the Startline Bar, located near the Supercar Paddocks by showing your order confirmation.

There are catering stands throughout the site, with everything from sandwiches, burgers and pasties, to street food and delicate baked goods.

At all our events we have gluten-free and vegetarian offerings - all dietary/allergen information is available at every outlet on request.

All of our caterers selling teas and coffees will offer dairy-free milk as an alternative.

EATING & DRINKING

Should you wish to explore entertaining opportunities for friends, family or business associates or you'd like to make your day even more memorable, we have a range of hospitality packages to choose from.

HOSPITALITY

Motorsport events can be noisy. Ear protection enables all visitors, especially children, to get closer to the action without feeling uncomfortable. Child ear defenders are available to buy at the Goodwood Shops on-site and complimentary foam ear plugs are available at all event entrances, information booths and grandstand marshals.

To help us maintain our safeguarding of children on event, children under the age of 12 are required to wear a wristband at all Goodwood Motorsport events. Children aged 12 and under do not require an admission ticket but must be accompanied by an adult and are required to wear a wristband, on which you can write your phone number. Wristbands must be ordered in advance online, or by calling our Ticket Office on +44 (0)1243 755055.

There is a dedicated autograph signing area by the Drivers' Club for children to get up close to their favourite drivers. Children also get priority on the front rows of all standing steps for the best views of the Hillclimb action.

Family camping
We offer family camping, bookable online or via the Ticket Office. Up to 60 families can book a 9m x 7m plot, with or without electric hook-up, with family-friendly toilets, baby change and shower facilities.

The family campsite is located in the Lennox enclosure at Goodwood Racecourse, a stone's throw from the main event, with beautiful scenic views across the South Downs and a newly renovated children's play area. The campsite office will be open 24hours a day, manned by a dedicated Goodwood host and manager. Each family will have access to a walk-in fridge to store items free of charge.

No dogs or other pets are permitted into the event, nor should they be left in your car or in the campsite. Only pre-registered guide/assistance dogs are allowed on site, at the owner's sole risk and responsibility.

If accepted, please bring along certification if appropriate and ensure your dog is wearing a branded harness if you have one.

Please be aware that there will be loud and sudden noises at Festival of Speed.

Festival of Speed is a largely outdoor event held in the parklands of the Goodwood Estate.

Guests should prepare for variable weather and dress appropriately. With warm and sunny weather predicted this year, we recommend you bring a hat, sun cream and a reusable water bottle that can be filled at one of our free water refill points. Shaded seating is provided across the event.

The Festival of Speed has treatment centres which are manned by trained NHS doctors and nurses. They are in the following locations:

- Behind Paddock Granstand
- Behind Clark Pavilion (F1 Paddock)
- Cathedral Walk (opposite Cartier Lawn)
- Event Gate 1
- Rally Stage

There is an on-site pharmacy providing medicines, toiletries, suntan lotion, earplugs and sunglasses. This is located behind the Chestnut Clump Gate 1 Pay Lane.

As we aim to provide the best possible experience for all our Festival of Speed guests, we are proud to deliver a fully cashless service around the event, including all catering units and exhibitors. The result will mean shorter queuing times, more payment options available, including Apple Pay and Google Pay and increased security. 

All payments can be made using the following methods:
- All major contactless debit and credit cards, with chip and pin applying for purchases over £30. 
- Mobile and wearable payment, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. 
- Goodwood gift card, only accepted at the Goodwood Hotel.

There are raised viewing platforms for the use of those with mobility aids who require an elevated viewing postition. The platforms have limited capacity and can not be reserved.

In addition, there are 47 spaces reserved for wheelchairs in the front row of the Pheasantry Grandstand, these tickets can be purchased from our Ticket Office on +44 (0)1243 755055.

Guests are reminded that the Festival of Speed is on a grassy terrain.

Track Crossing
A track crossing is provided before the Startline, allowing those with accessibility needs to cross the track at almost all times, as opposed to having to wait for track crossings to open between car batches. This will be highlighted on the visitor guide map. Should you require additional assistance, please contact a member of staff.

Toilets
Accessible toilets are available and will be highlighted on the visitor guide map.

A RevoLOOtion unit will be on site - a mobile toilet with hoist and changing table. Please bring your own sling if you wish to use the hoist. The unit is located at the toilet block near Gate 1. More information can be found at www.revolootion.org.uk.

On Site Transport
There is a courtesy shuttle service in all car parks to give assistance to those unable to walk to the event entrances; they will drop you at Event Gate 1 or the closest event pedestrian gate, depending on which car park you are in. Please wait by the Accessible Courtesy Shuttle signs (located within each car park) for assistance or flag down a vehicle as they pass.

A shuttle service using buggies is available within the main event site to help those with accessibility needs get around the different locations and attractions. Please speak to a member of staff who will be able to arrange a shuttle for you.

Shopmobility
Shopmobility are located at Gate 1 and electric and manual wheelchairs can be booked in advance from them. It is essential to pre-book with Shopmobility on 0300 500 8085 or by visiting https://www.cfirst.org.uk/events-mobility/

If you require a courtesy shuttle direct to Shopmobility, we suggest you access the site from the A27 direction (into Car Park A), which is where the quickest courtesy shuttle to Shopmobility will operate from. This service operates in the reverse for departure.

ACCESSIBILITY

Multiple treatment centres are strategically located across the event site, which are clearly indicated on the event map.

If you lose a person from your party, please report to the nearest Information point or to a member of Goodwood staff and then return to the last place you were together. Ideally the staff member will escort you but under no circumstances leave the staff member until you have given us your contact details. 

Often, people in the heat of the moment, report an incident and then disappear, making it impossible to find them again. Most people do tend to return to the last place you saw them, so try not to stray too far from that point. If you have children or vulnerable people in your group, you are strongly encouraged to take a photo of them on a mobile device as you enter the event. That way, you won't have to struggle to describe them accurately and what they are wearing. 

Children under 12 years, or any members of your party that you feel it appropriate, should wear one of our wristbands that you are able to write your phone number on. These wristbands can be collected on-event at the arrival gates. 

There are dedicated family rooms across the event, equipped to make your visit more comfortable. Each room includes a sink, bottle warmer, baby changing table, and a microwave. Baby changing facilities are also located within all accessible toilets on site. Family rooms are indicated on the event map and can be found at the following locations: 

• Family Area: On the north side of the cricket pitch 
• Limetrees: Next to the Limetrees public toilets just behind turn 1 Grandstand. 
• Fan Zone: In the area North of the F1 Pitlane and Ballroom Paddock.

If you have any questions whilst you're at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, please visit our Information Centres, located around the event. Information staff can also be found roaming the site and indeed the car parks.

If you spot an emergency, please report it to a member of staff at the nearest Information centre.

If you lose something at the Festival of Speed, please check at the nearest Information Centre, and post event email ticket.office@goodwood.com with as much information as possible about the item and where it was lost.

If you find any lost property on event, please take it to your nearest Information Centre.

There will be no public locker facilities available for guests.

A luggage store for large bags and suitcases can be located next to the Park Treatment Centre. Guests should visit the Park Information Centre for access. This service is free of charge.

If you have booked a hospitality package, limited storage lockers or areas are also available in the hospitality enclosures.

At Goodwood, stewardship of the land has been a priority for centuries with a focus on preserving and protecting the natural environment. From reducing waste to off-setting carbon emissions, we are continually working to make our events greener. 

The site you know and love as Festival of Speed is also home to some of our most treasured trees, including the beloved Cedar of Lebanon. These trees are integral to the estate and its history, so we are committed to their protection.

Years of compacted soil have hindered our trees' ability to thrive, leading to their decline. Over the past year, we have worked on aerating and decompacting the soil around the trees to enhance soil biology and improve their overall health. We conducted deep decompaction by drilling small boreholes between 200 and 750mm below ground and breaking the solid ground with compressed air. This allowed water and bacteria to penetrate deeper, creating a better environment for the tree roots to grow. Following this, we nourished the soil with a leaf-based tea to stimulate beneficial bacteria.

This year, we are also adding fencing and layers of woodchips and mulch to the ground surrounding the trees to replicate the forest floor. This slow-releasing food source supports fungi and microbes, helping restore the ecosystem to its natural state.
