After careful consideration, we have taken the difficult decision not to stage Goodwoof next year. As Goodwood enters an exciting new chapter in 2027, with a number of significant developments taking place across the Estate, we believe this is the right moment to pause and reflect on the event's remarkable journey.
We're incredibly grateful to everyone, on two legs and four, who has been part of the Goodwoof story and helped create so many unforgettable moments.
Dogs have been part of life here at Goodwood since the arrival of the first Duke of Richmond and Gordon in 1697 and we look forward to continuing to welcome our canine clientele across the Estate.


2027 will be a landmark year for the Goodwood Estate, with the transformation of the Goodwood Hotel, alongside Goodwood's expansion into the United States through the launch of Goodwood Road Racing Club of America in January. Goodwood Racecourse will also enter an exciting new chapter, with the redevelopment of the Lennox Enclosure, as the Estate continues to evolve.
With this in mind, it felt right to reflect on Goodwoof’s remarkable journey and celebrate everything it has achieved, while exploring new opportunities that will introduce even more people to the home of exceptional experiences.

Dogs have been part of life at Goodwood for centuries, with the first Duke of Richmond and Gordon's hounds calling the Estate home when he arrived in 1697.
