Racing debuts
The world's best historic motorsport event, Goodwood Revival is an immersive celebration of iconic cars and fashion. Revive & Thrive is the modern community that drives Revival forward, inspiring us all with creative ways to rethink, repair and re-wear.
We've done the maths. Goodwood Revival has more overtakes in one weekend of racing than a whole Formula 1 season. Plus, the value of cars and motorcycles on and off track is approaching £1 billion.
Make the most of our free parking for all attendees, plus shuttle buses from Chichester Station for those travelling by train.
A full 12-hour day of excitement and entertainment, including 10 hours of thrilling head-to-head racing with top racing drivers like Jenson Button.
Share your passion for Revival this year and make the most of free entry for children under 13, and half-price entry for children aged 13-21.
Exciting theatrical experiences, including a 1960s music festival, a VE day track celebration, and live music and dancing around every corner.
Access to Over The Road, which includes live music stages, a full vintage funfair, the Revival cinema, shops and food and drink outlets.
Revival boasts a fantastic variety of exhibitors and shopping opportunities Over the Road, on the High Street, and in our brand-new shopping lanes.
Head over to the Revival Style Village and immerse yourself in exclusive talks and workshops featuring celebrities like Dominic Chinea, Dandy Wellington, and Dita Von Teese.
Whether you're walking around the Freddie March Spirit of Aviation display, or you have your eyes pointed at the sky for our historic flyovers, there is plently to see for any aviation enthusiast.
This year, attendees will join us in paying tribute to Jim Clark, celebrating Alfa Romeo’s racing history, and paying homage to the iconic Type 2 VW Split Screen camper vans.
Give me Goodwood on a summer’s day and you can forget the rest of the world.
British Racing Driver
Each year as we recreate the glamour and excitement that suffused the glory days of motor racing at Goodwood from 1948 to 1966, we revisit a time when throwaway culture didn’t exist and cherished possessions were built to last. Revival champions exceptional craftsmanship and the enduringly fabulous stories told by classic cars, vintage fashion and a stellar line-up of personalities. There's quite simply nothing like it.
Although not compulsory, the vast majority of Revival visitors dress in period style with many going to great lengths to achieve that authentic look. The resulting step-back-in-time spectacle plays a key role in making the Revival such a unique event.
While you're not required to dress up (unless you qualify for central Paddock access, in which case a jacket and tie is necessary for gentlemen, and a dress or suit for the ladies), you'll feel much more involved if you do. And whether you go for the slick urban look, gentrified country style or chocs-away military aesthetic, it's not difficult or costly to dress appropriately.
We ask that your sartorial choices are made with care. Guests are discouraged from making controversial uniforms and culturally appropriated items a part of their Revival looks. Everyone should feel welcome and respected at Revival; Goodwood therefore reserves the right to ask visitors who are inappropriately attired to leave the event.
