A temple-folly guarded by two sphinxes, the beautiful shell house was built in 1748 with collected shells and the floor made from horse teeth.









As the private clubhouse for all of the Estate’s sporting and social members, it offers personal service and a relaxed atmosphere

We're thrilled to finally share the 2025 Goodwoof line-up, which is absolutely bursting with fun have-a-go activities, competitions, special guests and unique experiences for the whole family to enjoy at this year's event on 17 and 18 May. With all activities and talks included in the price of your ticket, Goodwoof is the ultimate dog's day out!
Shows and competitions
Goodwoof 2025 will again bring together experts and competitors at the top of their field to take part in the competitions and demonstrations across the weekend.
The thrilling Goodwood Flyball Championship returns this year with seven top quality teams invited to compete and the Gundog and Sheepdog Trials will again showcase the top competitors in action.
Spearheaded by Kevin McCloud and The Duke of Richmond, the Barkitecture kennel design competition will see world-renowned architects present their designs inspired by this year's theme From Nature; For Nature. All kennels will be auctioned off on Sunday with the proceeds going to our charity partner Wild at Heart Foundation.
There will also be chances for you and your dog to compete at Goodwoof. Moving to its new home, The Green, Fastest Dog Presented by DHL will give all dogs the opportunity to race for the title of Fastest Dog.
Activities for you and your dog
All guests joining us at Goodwoof will have a multitude of choices when it comes to things to do. We've curated a packed schedule of activities for you to take part in with the whole family.
At the Ministry of Hound Curtis and AJ Pritchard will be leading the dog disco to music from DJs including DJ Fat Tony.
On the beautiful Woodland Walk you will find tarot card reading, crystal healing and dog astrology and more, which will offer a whole new way to connect with, and understand, your best friend.
Have-a-go activities return, where you and your dog can try out flyball, hurdles and more, and Fido’s Lido presented by LeShuttle will be a place for your dogs to take a cooling dip after a busy day.
Wellness and advice
Goodwoof is all about the dog, and there will be a host of talks and activities for you to learn more about canine wellbeing and care.
The Wellness Centre and Stage Presented by MARS will be the place to seek veterinary, behaviour and nutritional advice from Dr. Scott Miller, Bolu Eso and more experts.
At the Randox Health Studio you can take part in reiki, breathwork dog massage and more.
New this year, the team from Love My Human Townhouse in Chelsea will be running fabulous canine transformations and grooming demonstrations at the Grooming Parlour.
More than a dog show
Goodwoof offers something for everyone with so many unique experiences.
Fan-favourite Literary Corner returns with both new and familiar faces joining us for this year's event. Hear from Michael Morpurgo, Russell Kane, James Middleton, Hugh Bonneville, Kevin McCloud, Clare Balding and more to be announced.
New for 2025, the Art Café will give guests the chance to try their hand at learning a new craft with one of our talented artisans. Have a go at printing, illustration, painting and more. Joining us this year will be Anita Mangan, Rob Biddulph and more to be announced.
Our Chien Charmant judges will again be on the lookout for guests with personality, elegance and the shared flair that makes each dog and human pair much more than the simple sum of its parts. Much more than a fashion show, Chien Charmant is all about the deep bond between human and hound.
