On the face of it the Morgan Plus Six is an antique, a car to be driven slowly, with the roof off, through the great British outdoors. The thing is, though, it’s actually a complete and utter lunatic.
While its face evokes images of yesteryear motoring, the Morgan Plus Six is as crisp and modern underneath as anything else on the road. The engine and gearbox? Straight from a BMW Z4. The suspension? Double-wishbones all the way round.
There are niggles, for sure, but do not mistake this for an old fashioned driving machine. It might have a vintage look but it’ll give you a good kicking if you don’t take it seriously.
