The Huayra has always felt like the difficult second album for Pagani. When you explode onto the market with something as innately desirable and game-changing as the Zonda, you have to expect the mammoth task ahead, right?
Still, the polarising looks and comparatively muted sounds of the Huayra divided fans and critics alike and made it serve as an uncomfortable successor to the gorgeous and sonorous Zonda. Nevertheless, the car has come into its own over its six years in production. The BC, arguably, is the version that brought it home for the Huayra. Carbon-clad, dripping in aero and spoiling for a kicking round a track – it’s a relative antidote to double clutches and hybridisation.
