Video: Driving a restored Porsche 356 was a revelation

When the team at Thornley Kelham called up, told us that they had a newly-restored, Super 90-powered, Porsche 356 in their workshop and would anyone like to drive it, I quickly pushed my colleagues out of the way and said yes.
This was my first experience of a 356, and I arrived with few ideas as to what to expect. All I had heard was a certain Automotive Anorak telling me that it was basically a Beetle, and some other's banging on about air-cooling. So I drove it with a completely clean mind.
What I found was a fantastic little car, fully restored and with perhaps a little more power than the Super 90 Porsche 356 originally had, but was none the worse for it.
