Ford Performance Parts has used SEMA to release a supercharger kit capable of producing at least 811PS (596kW) for the seventh-generation 5.0-litre Mustang. The kit fits manual and automatic cars and comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.
“The Ford Performance supercharger kit means more power and more excitement for Mustang owners. With at least 800 horsepower, this Ford Performance option takes the already-powerful Ford Mustang GT to an extreme level that should satisfy even the most demanding driver,” said Ford Performance product manager Michael Goodwin.
The kit includes a 3.0-litre Whipple twin-screw supercharger, oversized heat exchanger, high-flow dual beam injectors, billet high-flow fuel rails, an intercooler bypass, 92mm throttle body and a 120mm dual air intake.
The kit will be available in 2024, with a Dark Horse-specific supercharger kit arriving “in the near future”.
