Video: A Formula E driver’s eye view is intense
Have you ever wanted to see motorsport through the eyes of the racers? Short of becoming a world-class racing driver yourself, it’s not been possible… until now. One of the many excellent views we can have of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship is what’s called “driver’s eye”.
Yes, it does exactly what it says on the tin, with a view near enough exactly the same, down to being behind the visor. Yes, the camera giving us this view is inside the helmets of the drivers. And what drivers they are that make up the Formula E grid, as we ride with Felipe Massa, Stoffel Vandoorne, and more! These driver’s eye highlights are from an entire season of Formula E, posted in early 2020. Some spectacular action visible right from the hot seat.
