Video: Watch more than 40 Group C cars fight at the Le Mans Classic

Join the Le Mans Classic 2018 grid as it parades behind the safety car, a myriad of marques and models treading the historic track, before the safety car peels into the pits and the sheer fury of dozens of sportscars is unleashed on La Sarthe.

43 minutes of high-speed, closely-contended action follows, with the likes of Porsche 962s, Jaguar XJRs, Spice SEs and a Gebhardt C91 dating from the late ‘80s/early ‘90s all jostling for the lead.

With the 8.5-mile circuit soaked in mid-summer sunshine, the video has left us longing for the real deal this summer. However, with this year’s edition postponed until 2021, we’ll be waiting a while yet…
