Video: Ken Block loved his Escort Cosworth, before it caught fire

Ken Block used to have a Ford Escort Cosworth. The key phrase there is ‘used to’, as not long after Ken’s head-mounted GoPro captured this rather excellent footage, the Cosworth suffered a gearbox problem, hit a rock, rolled and caught fire. But let’s not dwell on its untimely demise.
The video you see here is of Ken and co-driver Alex Gelsomino belting down the Concord Pond stage of the 2018 New England Forest Rally. They finished in fourth place with a time of 4m 5.7s.
The 1991 Escort Cosworth isn’t WRC fast, far from it, but it still takes some serious skill and commitment to drive quickly. Enjoy a master at work.
