Oh lordy lordy, this could be the video to end all videos, couldn’t it? A compilation of four of the very best unrestricted Italian track-only V12s. At least, in the opinion of NM2255. We trust that opinion. In the running are the Maserati MC12 GT1, Lamborghini Murcielago 670 R-SV GT1, Ferrari FXX and Pagani Zonda R.
Nothing here displaces under six litres, produces under 500PS (368kW) and revs any lower than 8,000rpm and is any less than deafening. At the risk of needing the rest of the day off, watch and listen to these legends of 12-cylinder music howl their way around Spa, Monza, Imola and indeed, up the Goodwood Hill.
