Video: Was the 1970 Sebring 12-hour the best running ever?

It may well have been the best-sounding running at the very least. This was the era that included such legends as the Porsche 917, Ferrari 512 and Lola T70. It goes without saying that things were different back then, but the landscape looks pretty alien to modern eyes with its lack of Armco, corners marked with road cones and the super-low pit wall. The graininess of the footage only adds to its evocative feel. We can't wait to be back there with HSR later this year!
