While the Dutch racing driver holds countless Formula 1 firsts and race wins, he’s also a hobby driver in the risk-free world of online competition. And, behind the virtual wheel of virtual GT car, it’s clear to see the qualities that earned him a spot on the world stage.
This footage is courtesy of last October’s iRacing Petit Le Mans, and shows Verstappen’s incredible pace as he sprints from 14th to first at Road Atlanta, with the deft hand of a man who was born to drive.
