Video: Ultimate Ford touring car battle at Goodwood

Fast Fords, you gotta love ‘em. They’re basically the very genesis of real everyday driving heroes in the UK. But which one would you choose to race?

At the 76^th Goodwood Members’ Meeting we witnessed a battle of proper fast Fords that seemed almost set up just to answer that question. Mike Jordan in Mike Whittaker’s red Ford Capri was battling with Mark Blundell in a Castrol-liveried Ford Escort RS2000. Thrown into the mix was a slightly slower Brut-sponsored Capri, making this a total Ford-fest.

The battle would eventually go to the Escort, but if you watched the full race (which you can find here) you’ll see that Jordan is probably having more fun in the Capri. So which one would you actually take home?
