As a recipe, it can't fail, can it? Take 28 American V8 powered saloons, two drivers per car and add a glug of competitive spirit. The Pierpoint Cup, for V8 powereed saloons of the 1960s, raced into the sunset and provided a terrific spectacle (and one notable spill). Here are the highlights from a memorable race.
