The third running of the Bruce McLaren Trophy at the 83rd Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport approaches, with a new race winner set to be crowned at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in what is regarded as the fastest race in historic motorsport.

When is the 2026 Bruce McLaren Trophy?

The fastest and most powerful cars racing at the 83rd Members’ Meeting will be unleashed on Saturday afternoon, with Official Practice for the Bruce McLaren Trophy scheduled to commence at 12:15 on Saturday.

On Sunday, the visceral race action begins at 12:25, as the high-speed prototypes compete in a definitive tribute to Bruce McLaren's legacy. Spectators are advised to be trackside early to witness the booming V8 barrage as these elite drivers push legendary machinery to the absolute limit.

Who’s competing in the 2026 Bruce McLaren Trophy?

The grid is stacked with professional talent, led by British GT legend Phil Keen, who serves as the benchmark for the field. He is joined by Le Mans veteran and WEC champion Stuart Hall.

Overseas stars include Katsu Kubota, known in Japan for his ‘no-compromise’ style, and European veteran Andy Newall. Other key names to watch include restoration expert Adam Sykes, Julien Draper and Jakob Viggo Holstein, all of whom embody the competitive spirit of the McLaren era.

Which cars will be in the 2026 Bruce McLaren Trophy?

Expect a grid dominated by the booming V8 engines of 1960s sports-prototypes. Headlining the entry list are legendary Can-Am machines like the 1966 Lola-Chevrolet T70 Spyder and the 1965 McLaren-Chevrolet M1A.

This race will also feature unique technical rarities, including a Ferrari-engined Lotus 19 and the distinctive Attila-Chevrolet MkIII. These high-horsepower masterpieces represent the pinnacle of mid-60s engineering, built for an era where achievement was the only measure of success.
