SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard was a big one for fans of Porsche. Even without our celebrations of 50 years since the marque’s first win at Le Mans, the event and its races were packed with Porsche road and racing machinery from past, present and a splash of the future.
From the RAC TT Celebration and the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy, to the Shootout presented by Mastercard, the range of Porsches covers near enough every decade of the marque’s existence. From the 1960s 904, to the very latest 911 Carrera Cup. Then, of course, there are the Le Mans legends. The original Le Mans-winning 917 from 1970 joined winning successors for a celebration of 50 years of Porsche success at Circuit de la Sarthe.
