The Revival takes us straight back to a golden age when British manufacturers were redefining what was possible. The Mini revolutionised small cars with its ingenious front-wheel-drive layout and space-saving transverse engine.
The Jaguar E-Type stunned the world with its sleek monocoque chassis, independent rear suspension and four-wheel disc brakes, technology that felt decades ahead of its time. And Lotus? Lotus continued to do what it did best: simplify, add lightness, and out-think the competition to create some of the most beautifully balanced sports and racing cars ever built.
That's merely the opening act of what you'll find in this video, a celebration spanning everything from Aston Martins to Rileys and TVRs, from sturdy saloons to lithe GTs and full-blown prototypes. Each represents its own unique blend of Britishness.
Then factor in the big unknown of racing at Goodwood — the weather. Because, yes, Mother Nature put on her own show, dousing the track in a few inches of water.
Not ideal for attendees, but now that we're thoroughly dry it seems rather fitting that a British event should be graced but a little rain, allowing competitors a chance to showcase their skills. And when competitors included the likes of Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button driving the wheels of his recently acquired C-Type, the skills were high.
So sit back, turn up the volume, and enjoy 15 glorious minutes of footage that remind us exactly why British racing cars did it best at Revival 2025.
