Pirro will race this striking Porsche 904 in the RAC TT Celebration

It’s the spectacular outcome of a collaboration between artist Daniel Arsham and Team Ikuzawa, who have adorned this 904, owned by JOTA co-owner David Clark, in a striking new livery, and it’ll be driven at the Revival by none other than five-time Le Mans winner Emanuele Pirro and his son Goffredo Pirro. 

The Team Ikuzawa brand is continuing the legacy of Tetsu Ikuzawa, the first Porsche factory driver from Japan and the first Japanese driver to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, who took a legendary victory at the 1967 Japan Grand Prix as a privateer driving a Porsche 906.

This Porsche 904 represents a celebration of that legacy, and we’ll be reminded of the charismatic Ikuzawa when it takes to the Motor Circuit over Goodwood Revival weekend.

During Revival, Team Ikuzawa will have an exclusive collection featuring a denim varsity jacket, hoodie, t-shirt, trunk bags, keyring, art print, and car grille badge all available to purchase. Adding to the authenticity, Team Ikuzawa’s mechanics and crew will also be wearing bespoke versions of Goodwood’s iconic vintage overalls.
