Today (6th September) it is less than two weeks until the Goodwood Revival gets underway at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The first Revival to take place since 2019. So it’s time we revealed the schedule for the weekend.

As usual the action begins early on Friday morning, this time with a track parade of classic Hot Rods, including ones from the famous Rolling Bones, before almost every car racing over the weekend will take to the track for timed practice.

The racing action gets underway with the Revival’s traditional dose of early-‘60s GTs in the form of the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy – which has opened the Revival as the Kinrara Trophy since 2016. The first day will also see the first of our Track Parades to celebrate British Racing Motors (BRM) and the launch of the brand-new V16.

Saturday will again begin with the incredible hot rods before a day filled with racing and two qualifying sessions, for the GT racers of the RAC TT Celebration and sportscars of the Freddie March Memorial Trophy. Racing action on day two begins with the Festival of Britain Trophy, a regular Saturday starter usually called the Goodwood Trophy, but renamed in 2021 to celebrate the anniversary of the 1951 Festival of Britain. The iconic Settrington Cup for Austin J40 pedal cars will follow at 10.40 before 2021’s first taste of two-wheeled racing at 11am with the first part of the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy.

Just before lunch, at 11.50, the John Whitmore Trophy, presented by Sure, will showcase an incredible two-driver battle for just original Minis, before we pay tribute to Mr Goodwood himself, Sir Stirling Moss, with a parade of some of his most iconic cars.

The rest of the day features highlights including the Glover Trophy for F1 cars, St Mary’s Trophy part 1 presented by Motul for the brilliant little and large touring cars of the 1950s, the Can-Am cars of the Whitsun Trophy presented by Sky Cinema and finally the stunning ‘50s sportscars of the Sussex Trophy presented by Lifebouy.

Sunday, the Revival’s final day, features another amazing day’s action, headlined by the RAC TT Celebration, perhaps the most important race in historic motorsport. In addition there will be more Barry Sheene Memorial bike action and another chance for the kids to shine in the Settrington Cup. The touring cars will return, this time with their owners at the wheel, in part two of the St Mary’s Trophy presented by Motul, F1 cars will be on show from the earliest era of the sport in the Richmond Trophy and the Brooklands Trophy returns, this time in a two-driver format for pre-war sportscars.
