2025 Goodwood Revival timetable

28th August 2025

Preparations for the 2025 Goodwood Revival are well and truly underway, and as if key attractions like the celebrations for Jim Clark, Alfa Romeo, the VW Campers Track Opening Parade and the Revival Style Stage weren’t enough to pique the interest, now we know exactly when all of these moments will feature courtesy of this year’s Revival timetable.

Following last year’s successful trial, all three days of historic motorsport at the Revival will be powered exclusively by sustainable fuels once again, while the Revive & Thrive ethos has never been stronger, celebrating vintage fashion with some of the biggest stars.

Here you can find the timetables of both the action on track and the line-up gracing the Revival Style Stage, so you can truly make the most of your visit to the Motor Circuit.

Friday on track at the 2025 Goodwood Revival

We mentioned the Track Opening Parade, which will see a fleet of original VW Type 2 Campers get all three days of the Revival off to a colourful and entertaining start at 09:00 sharp, encompassing everything we love about this brilliant event.

The historic motorsport will get underway once the VWs have left the track, and the opening session of the day will see the 1950s sportscars of the Freddie March Memorial Trophy head out for the first time for their Official Practice session at 09:30.

Then it’ll be the first two-wheeled action of the weekend when the bikes of Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy complete their first session at 10:20. The pre-war Grand Prix and Voiturette cars of the Goodwood Trophy will be out next, with Official Practice for a race that reimagines the kind of competition that would have headlined early race meetings at the Motor Circuit in 1948 at 11:05.

The first moment for the Revival to celebrate Jim Clark will arrive at 11:40, which will see a number of his legendary machines, from humble touring cars to World Championship-winning Lotus 25s, complete two laps of the Motor Circuit in honour of the world's greatest racing driver.

Friday afternoon will begin with the sub-3.0-litre sportscars of the Madgwick Cup at 12:05 before the VIP drivers of the St. Mary’s Trophy presented by Motul make the most of their 20-minute chance to get a grip on their ‘50s tin tops at 12:35. That’s followed by a field of Ford Mustangs, Lotus Elan 26Rs and Alfa Romeo TZ1s as they head out for Official Practice in the Fordwater Trophy at 12:35.

The fastest cars of the weekend will be unleashed for Whitsun Trophy Practice at 13:40. Then, from brute force to poise and beauty, the closed-cockpit GTs of the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy get their first action at 14:10, followed by the Formula Juniors of the Chichester Cup at 14:50.

We’ll all slow down for a deep breath at 15:25 to take in the delights of the Alfa Romeo Celebration, as many of the marque’s most famous and successful racing cars from 1925-1975 head out for a stunning parade, before the beautiful ‘50s World Championship sportscars of the Sussex Trophy get their first taste of action at 15:45.

Things will get serious for just a moment shortly afterwards, when the big guns come out for the RAC TT Celebration’s first Official Practice session of the weekend at 16:15, before the first F1 action of the weekend gets underway with Official Practice for the Glover Trophy at 16:50, followed by the Richmond & Gordon Trophies at 17:20.

Friday evening will begin with the second part of St. Mary’s Trophy Practice at 17:50, before the the sun begins to set as the flag drops for the first race of the 2025 Goodwood Revival, the hour-long Freddie March Memorial Trophy, at 18:30.

Saturday on track at the 2025 Goodwood Revival

Day two of the Revival will begin once again with a parade of VW Campers before a full day of racing action gets underway at 09:35 with the Goodwood Trophy. Second practice for the RAC TT Celebration at 10:10 will be the final chance for a star-studded field of drivers to hone their setups ahead of the race on Sunday, before Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy Part 1 kicks off at 11:05.

The first part of arguably the most important race of the weekend follows at 11:45, as the Austin J40s of the Settrington Cup presented by Ralph Lauren line up on the Grid for the annual pedal car race, and once the chaos has been cleared the Madgwick Cup will begin at 12:30.

The Jim Clark tribute returns at 13:50, before racing action returns with an event that always delivers, Part 1 of the St. Mary’s Trophy, which will start at 14:30 before the Fordwater Trophy at 15:25 and the second Alfa Romeo parade at 16:10. Then Saturday evening will be rounded off with the Whitsun Trophy at 16:40, before the 45-minute Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy begins at 17:35 to bring an end to day two.

Sunday on track at the 2025 Goodwood Revival

After two days packed with action, Sunday at Revival will need to be good, and we're sure it will be judging by the list of races. The Chichester Cup will follow the VW Campers to get the day off to an excitable start at 09:35 before the Sussex Trophy gets underway at 10:30. Part 2 of the Settrington Cup presented by Ralph Lauren will see the overall winner crowned at 11:20.

The Alfa Romeo Celebration will grace the Motor Circuit for the final time at 11:50, and Sunday afternoon’s racing action will begin with the return of the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy at 12:20.

Following a brief interlude for the Revival's VE Day Celebration street party at 13:00, it’s time for the big one, the RAC TT Celebration will bring all the noise at 14:30 for an hour-long showpiece, followed, as is tradition, by the Glover Trophy at 15:55.

Sunday evening will be drawn to a close with the final running of the Jim Clark celebration before the Richmond & Gordon Trophies at 17:10, and the final race of the 2025 Revival, Part 2 of the St. Mary’s Trophy, at 18:00.

Friday on the Revival Style Stage at the 2025 Goodwood Revival

Over at the Revival Style Stage — positioned north of the Revival High Street — things kick off in serious high stakes with the return of Dita Von Teese. The epitome of golden age glamour and a long-time collector of classic cars, Von Teese will be in conversation with jazz bandleader and style activist Dandy Wellington at 12:30.

From screen to stage, Richard E Grant will be in conversation with Paula Sutton of Hill House Vintage at 14:15 to discuss all things vintage on film. From Withnail & I to Keep The Aspidistra Flying, the actor will reflect on the period pieces he’s worn, his work in fragrance and his own personal style secrets.

Also on Friday, spend your morning going behind the scenes at the V&A with curator Jessica Harpley, who will join Dandy Wellington at 11:30 to discuss collecting and displaying historic fashion at the V&A, her work on the new fashion gallery and previous shows, as Wellington relates his experience of contributing to Superfine: Tailoring Black Style at The MET.

Of course, the showpiece of each day is the Best Dressed competition, which this year features Paula Sutton as head judge on all three days. Last year set a high bar, but 2025 is sure to deliver more showstopping looks that represent the very best of the Revival Style ethos. On Friday, Sutton will be joined by guest judges Adele Mitchell and Charlotte Dellal for the contest at 15:00.

As for the music, DJ Ginger Fizz will be keeping the party going all day long with vintage vinyl mixes. Four 40-minute sets will be played throughout the day, at 10:00, 10:50, 13:00 and 16:30.

Providing insights into two of the biggest fashion houses, Saturday begins with Hannah Rogers, Assistant Fashion Editor of The Times and author of The Dior Style Principles exploring the enduring legacy of Chanel and Dior in conversation with Dandy Wellington, revealing the impact both had on mid-century style and how this is still at play today. Then at 13:30, world famous designer and the former creative director of Chloé, Gabriela Hearst, will join Dandy to offer a rare insight into her work, her inspirations from women in the past and on repurposing vintage pieces, helping to create a sustainable future vintage for a modern audience.

Finally, attentions turn to interiors for a discussion on using vintage in modern homes at 14:15. Paula Sutton will be joined by Africa Daley-Clarke, author of You Are Home; Sydney Piercy, founder of brocante sourcing service Le Six; TV presenter and sustainable interior designer Micaela Sharp; and cookery writer Skye McAlpine.

Saturday’s Best Dressed competition sees Paula Sutton joined by The Traitors star Frankie Rowan-Plowden, as they assess the most dazzling looks of the day at 15:00.

Sunday on the Revival Style Stage at the 2025 Goodwood Revival

Sunday on the Revival Style Stage starts with author Paul Gorman exploring the world of the legendary 1960s store Granny Takes A Trip. Ahead of his upcoming book, Gorman speaks to Dandy Wellington at 11:30 to share all about the destination that pioneered selling and upcycling vintage pieces from London, all the way to New York and Los Angeles, with stories featuring names including Jimi Hendricks, The Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

Celebrating our greatest style icons of the '60s, fashion historian Amber Butchart will then be in conversation with Pattie Boyd and Penelope Tree, taking in their insights on modelling, music and mini skirts, and uncovering the stories behind the fashion shoots at 12:30.

The final talk of the 2025 Revival is a must-see for any fans of Downton Abbey. Ahead of the upcoming Bonhams auction, join a cast of special guests to explore the exhibition and sale of the costumes from the famous period drama at 14:15.

Concluding the programme on the Revival Style Stage is the final Best Dressed competition of the 2025 Revival. Paula Sutton will be joined on Sunday by vintage style icon Dita Von Teese for this last round of judging at 15:00.

And finally, Ginger Fizz will provide the perfect soundtrack to close out a magical three days of vintage delights, with four musical sets taking place at 10:00, 10:50, 13:00 and 16:30.

heritage skills Revival2024_TobyAdamson_107 copy.jpg

As well as all the activity on the stage, there is also a whole host of free drop-in Revive & Thrive workshops taking place during Revival, inviting you to join in a celebration of heritage crafts. Sophie Tea Art will be in The Workshop on Hurricane Lawn on Friday, using her unique upcycling artistry to transform a piece from Revival’s Oxfam shop, while other sessions cover everything from bookbinding and embroidery to repurposing scrap leather. Here you can find all the information and timings for these workshops ahead of the event.
