The 2025 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard got underway on Thursday, signalling the beginning of Goodwood’s unprecedented F1 75 celebrations.
All four days of the Festival of Speed are set to be brimming with Formula 1 showcases as we enjoy six classes of past and present F1 cars, often driven by legends of the sport.
Nine of the current F1 teams are in attendance this weekend, with Liam Lawson, Esteban Ocon, Ollie Bearman, Yuki Tsunoda and Gabriel Bortoleto set to be in action over the next four days.
The Festival of Speed is telling the definitive story of F1, capturing the essence of the sport’s steeped history, with a huge list of cars representing the champions, underdogs, innovators and pioneers that have shaped F1 over the past three quarters of a decade.
Thursday saw the majority of F1 cars in action on the Hill for the first time, and it’s safe to say we’re looking forward to enjoying more of this as the event unfolds.
