The Mercedes Formula 1 team is set to have its biggest ever presence at the 2026 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, debuting its brand-new fan hub alongside its activities on the Hill.

Located in the Formula 1 Pit Lane, the Mercedes fan hub will offer visitors the chance to immerse themselves in a real F1 pit lane and garage, where you’ll be able to test yourself with the challenge of a pitstop on the W09 — the car in which Lewis Hamilton won 11 Grands Prix on his way to the 2018 World Championship — under the expert guidance of team mechanics past and present.
You’ll be able to test your skills on driving simulators, while there’s the chance to get crafty by making your own grid pass, and make the most of limited edition merchandise.

Away from the stand, the W13, winner of the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix, will be driven up the Hill by Mercedes’ third driver Fred Vesti, who’s no stranger to the 1.16-mile course. The W13 delivered George Russell his first F1 race win, and will be decked out in the 2026 livery for its runs up the Hill on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
“I’m very excited to be attending this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed,” said Vesti. “It will be my third time at the Festival; I can’t wait to be in the car, taking on the hillclimb, and experiencing all that Goodwood has to offer. It’s such a special event, and the Hill is like nothing else!”
Tickets for the Festival of Speed are limited. Only Thursday admission remains but hospitality packages for all four days are available. Missed out on a ticket for Friday or Saturday? Find out how you can access our sold-out days with one of our new packages.
If you’re not already part of the GRRC, joining the Fellowship means you can save ten per cent on your 2026 tickets and grandstand passes, as well as enjoy a whole host of other on-event perks.
